Authored an independent research letter published in Medical Hypotheses exploring the role of homocysteine in COVID-19 severity. The work drew on primary literature across multiple medical disciplines to propose original hypotheses about why certain patients faced worse outcomes. Published without institutional affiliation, it demonstrates the ability to research, synthesize, and communicate complex science at a standard rigorous enough for academic publication.

Intermountain Healthcare, internal comms
Managed internal communications for one of the largest health systems in the country, supporting an employee base of more than 25,000 people. Wrote and edited employee handbooks, compliance training content, and healthy living initiatives, translating clinical and regulatory language into clear, accessible copy that employees could actually use. The work required the same precision demanded by clinical writing, applied to the everyday language of a large, complex organization.

Crossover Health, iTreatment modules
Worked alongside PhD-level clinical authors as a substantive editor to develop patient-facing treatment modules, preparing research-grade content for public use. The role required bridging two very different standards: the rigor expected by clinicians and the clarity required by patients. Getting that balance right is the difference between health content that informs and health content that actually changes behavior.

Researched and developed content for Brightline's mental health website, covering multiple diagnoses. Writing for mental health audiences demands a specific kind of care: language that is clinically grounded, stigma-aware, and calibrated to someone who may be seeking answers about themselves or someone they love. Accuracy and emotional impact matter, particularly in mental health communications.
